At the Qatar Centre for Peace and Democracy, our mission is to foster a society where active citizen participation are fundamental rights for all. We are committed to advocating for the strengthening of local democracy and the development of a strong civil society in the State of Qatar. We also champion the protection of Human Right for all especially for minority groups, fostering intercultural dialogue and empowering citizens to contribute to building a more inclusive and democratic Qatar.

Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 10 (Reduce Inequalities) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), we stay state fast to our support for the advancement of social justice, democracy, peace and ensuring that opportunities are based on merit. Our work supports the agenda for Social Development, building communities and institutions that protect Human Rights and promotes Peace.
