COMMUNICATIONS TO THE UNITED NATIONS
As part of its broader and core mission to advance human rights, QCPD engages constructively with United Nations mechanisms to help ensure that individual voices are reflected in international dialogue and policymaking.
Through its Geneva presence, QCPD Switzerland maintains strategic engagement with UN actors by contributing timely information, submitting individual communications, participating in bilateral consultations and high-level discussions, and joining public forums and events. These efforts aim to bridge lived experience with international standards, and to contribute constructively to systemic improvement through collaborative, evidence-informed advocacy.
INDIVIDUAL SUBMISSIONS
QCPD documents and elevates the experiences of individuals whose fundamental rights and freedoms have been challenged.
Our process is rooted in survivor-centred and trauma-informed principles, ensuring dignity, agency, and consent at every step. In doing so, we accompany those who choose to come forward—supporting them in seeking justice, engaging in dialogue, or pursuing remedies through relevant mechanisms. These individual submissions are not only a means of redress, but also help illuminate broader structural patterns, fostering accountability and reinforcing international protection frameworks.
