Our Commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals
At the QCPD, our mission to promote dignity, peace, and democracy in Qatar and the Gulf is part of a larger global effort. We align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a whole, recognizing the interconnected nature of peace, rights, and sustainable development.
While all 17 goals matter to us, QCPD works most directly with the following SDGs, which reflect the core of our programs, advocacy, and storytelling.
SDG 5 – Gender Equality
Empowering women and migrant mothers
QCPD is committed to advancing gender equality by amplifying the stories of women migrant workers, addressing unique challenges they face, and advocating for safe, equal opportunities. We highlight the resilience of migrant mothers and support initiatives that ensure women’s voices are central to democracy and dignity.
SDG 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth
Promoting dignity in labor and fair opportunities
Through storytelling and advocacy, we spotlight the realities of migrant workers, pushing for safe, fair, and dignified working conditions. Our campaigns highlight resilience while advocating for systemic labor reforms.

Amplifying marginalized voices
We use multilingual, human-centric communication to bring forward the experiences of migrant communities. By centering dignity, inclusion, and equity, QCPD works to reduce systemic barriers and create spaces where all voices are valued.

QCPD’s vision is rooted in democracy and human rights. Through policy dialogues, publications, and advocacy, we encourage civic participation, accountability, and stronger institutions across the Gulf.
